We are Restoring Forests

on degraded smallholder land in Sierra Leone

Who we are

Rewilding Maforki

No matter how much we decarbonize and reduce emissions, we still face a global biodiversity crisis. Using a proprietary technology system called CQS™ that provides unprecedented insights into forest change and carbon capture at the individual tree level. We are planting enriching and diverse native species on degraded smallholder land. This approach generates meaningful revenue for smallholder farmers while rebuilding ecosystems and supporting the communities in the project area.

Not all carbon credits are
created equal

The highest premium carbon credits in the market today are always associated with high-integrity projects, particularly those focused on carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and nature-based solutions like reforestation and afforestation. These credits can reach prices far above the average, reflecting their effectiveness and reliability. Our high-quality carbon credits come from projects that meet stringent criteria, such as ensuring the permanence of carbon sequestration and avoiding double counting. Additionally, we use innovative technologies (CQS) for significant local community impact. We call this radical traceability.

These credits are critical for companies looking to make substantial contributions to climate goals, beyond just offsetting emissions. The pricing disparity in carbon credits is primarily driven by the project’s quality, the rigor of the verification processes, and the long-term reliability of the carbon sequestration or emission reduction achieved. As the market evolves, demand for these high-integrity credits will grow.

What We Do

Our Project

Nursery operations

1M Seedlings

Two own nurseries operating within the project area with over 1 million seedlings of native species prepared for planting every year.

Planting operations

2,500ha Planted

Land is prepared and planted with over 2,500ha already established.

Maintenance

By Experts

Ongoing maintenance of the planted area with indigenous staff supervised by forestry and biodiversity experts.
